LUSH HAUL

Good evening beautiful souls,

I love Lush products and a bath without a bathbomb and some bubbles is just boring so when I was running low on bath products I knew it was time to give Lush a visit. So the other week I popped into Lush to restock my depleted store of bathbombs and I thought you might be interested to see what I bought.

The Comforter

One of my all time favorite, I always crumble a little of this bubble bar into a bath.

Big Blue

I keep repurchasing this one because it’s just so refreshing and relaxing.

Cheer Up Buttercup

I haven’t tried this little gem of a bathbomb yet but it smells amazing! I wanted to buy a whole basket full of the

Cream Egg

Of course I had to try some bathbombs from the Easter range too. Again this one is new to me but I loved the bright colours and design of this one.

Which Came First?

At nearly £7 this is definitely the most expensive bathbomb I have ever bought!! However it was too pretty not to try and it will definitely last me for four baths so the price isn’t too bad.

Caca Rouge Henna

If you have seen my Henna Hair post you will already know that I purchased and have already used this Lush product. It is again quite pricey at just under £11 but if you think about how many hair dyes you actually get out of it it’s really good value. Henna has an interesting smell and is the messiest hair dying process I know of haha, but as it’s all natural it is nourishing and not damaging your hair. So if you want a beautiful gingery/red you must try this product!

LUSH HAUL

Good evening beautiful souls,

Firstly I just wanted to apologise for not posting my weekly Dear Diary post on Sunday. It was a super long busy day at work because it was our Christmas Special event and I pretty  much went straight to bed when I got home as I was so exhausted.

Anyway, let’s get on with today’s post – my lush haul!!! A while ago I made a trip to Newcastle with Jessica and having recently depleted my basket of Lush goodies it was time to re-stock my favourite bath products. I wish Durham had a Lush, but maybe it’s a good thing it doesn’t because otherwise I would spend far too much money! I just love shopping in Lush; the first thing that hits you is the overpowering wave of smells that accost your nose before you even enter the lush store. The next thing which jumps out at you are all the bright colours and temptation in every corner. The staff are always very friendly, although I have to admit that this time they were too overbearing and almost ruined my shopping experience by not leaving us  in peace to have a browse. Anyhow, here is what I purchased in Lush:

The Christmas Sweater £4.50 –

It’s getting hot in here, so take off all your Christmas jumpers and socks and jump into a steamy bath! After a busy day of shopping and carrying around all those presents, drop this hot and spicy bomb into the water for some fizzy-ho therapy. Sicilian lemon oil with mustard and ginger powders will ease muscles and warm you to your soul. Coriander seed and clove bud oils are sure to spice up your wife and hygge your husband!

How cute is this festive bath bomb!?! And it’s full of surprises – I used this the other day and the bath turned a pretty swirly orangy red.

Snow Fairy £4.95 –

Sail away on a bubblegum sea in a boat made of candy floss and fairy dust. Get in the bath and cast this jelly bomb into the water, watching as clouds of skin softening jelly swirl around you like enchanted snow drifts. Soak in the sweet pink waters and float away to Neverland.

I feel like this is one of the nations favourite smells right?! I find it somewhat sickly sweat, but I kinda like it all the same, so I can’t wait to use this!

The Comforter £4.95 –

Sometimes you just need to shut yourself off from the outside world under a blanket of fruity foam that will put you back in the right frame of mind to face the world. This bar is supersized, so you’ll only need to crumble half a bar under your tap to make enough bubbles for a long, comforting soak. Cassis absolute gives a distinctive blackcurrant fragrance, while bergamot adds an uplifting note.

The Comforter is one of my all time favourites. I have tried other bubble bars and I do really like candy mountain too, but I keep coming back for the comforter. It lasts me a good 5-8 baths depending on how much I crumble in with whatever bath bomb I decide to use.

Lord Of Misrule – (sorry guys, this one doesn’t seem to be online)

I had to get another Christmasy bath bomb of course and this one just smelt divine!

Shoot For The Stars £4.50 –

Honey-scented sparkles of Brazilian orange and bergamot waltz with swirling, golden stars, creating a world of cobalt colour. As the calming blanket of shimmering, midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils combine to send your mood rocketing up to the stars.

I’ve never tried this one before, but we got a demonstration in the shop and it looks fab – the little stars pop out and float about slowly melting into the water. I’m only a little worried about the glitter on the stars; I mean it always looks pretty but is a nightmare when it sticks to everything.

So that’s my Lush haul. It’s not huge haul, but it will last me for ages because when it comes to Lush I have to admit that I am a little stingy – I never use a whole bath bomb for just one bath – I just can’t justify it haha! I always split the bath bombs in two at least, or sometimes even in three if I mix a bath bomb with the comforter bubble bar for example or add other bath products like my Faith in Nature foam gel. Does anyone else do this? Well now for a nice long soak and I think I’ll start with the Christmas sweater bath bomb. Have a lovely evening guys!
