Good evening beautiful souls,

I could not stop myself from doing a little shoe shop in the Office sales the other day and here’s what I bought.

My first buy was these cute sparkly jelly shoes from JUJU. I was tempted by the plain black ones but decided to be brave and go for something a little more out there for me. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep them yet though because they are on the very large side. But I thought they’d be great on a rainy miserable day without having to go out in full on wellies.

My second purchase are these cute golden sandals from Office which I’m definitely keeping. They’re in the style of Birkenstock a brand I love, but are a cheaper alternative. Again I wouldn’t usually go for gold, but I was kinda drawn to these and I love that they have a small platform and thus give me a bit more height. I can’t wait to wear these in summer!

Well there you have it, my mini shoe haul. What do you think of these?! Got anything similar?

Good evening beautiful souls,

I’ve had a make up post in the planning for weeks and so I’m excited to finally share it with you. I think this may even be a first on my blog! So please let me know if you’d like more makeup style posts in future.

Note : not all products used are vegan, although I have stopped buying non vegan makeup products now, I am not just going to waste all the makeup I already own by throwing them away because they are not vegan.

I love this look because it has a bit of sparkle perfect for a night out but is also still natural enough for a fresh everyday work look.

Products used for this look:

NYX Pore Filler Primer – Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (fair 1) – The Body Shop Matte Clay Skin Clarifying Foundation (Railay Beach 014) – Collection Eye Brow Kit – Sleek i-Divine Vintage Romance eyeshadow palette – Collection Glam Crystals Gel Liner (Funk 3) – The Body Shop Smokey Black Eye Definer – Natural Collection Lash Build Mascara (Black) – Collection Lip Liner (10 Cholcolate) – Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick (Vintage Rose 13)

Good evening beautiful souls,

For Christmas a friend of mine gifted me with one of her beautiful handmade face & body creams. As I still had plenty of face creams open at the time I didn’t use it immediately. I was excited though because it smelt divine!

Now I know this review won’t be of much use to you as it is not a cream you can buy, however I’m so in love with it that I had to share!

It’s a thick cream but softens quickly through the warmth of my skin making the application nice and easy. At first I thought it would take forever to sink into my skin as it seemed somewhat oily once applied, however to my delight I was mistaken. It soaks up quickly and leaves my skin glow and smooth. What I also love is that it still feels like my skin can breath unlike some thick creams which feel like they leave a layer on my face. Best of all because it’s homemade there’s no nasties or preservatives in it, just natural goodness!

So as you can see my beautiful readers I’m in love with this cream and hope my friend will keep making it for me once this little tub of gold has run out!

Has anyone else tried any homemade creams??

Good evening beautiful souls,

First of all I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!! I hope 2018 will be filled with much excitement, laughter and the reaching of your goals!

The beginning of a new year always fills me with so much inspiration and motivation and so I thought this would be the perfect time to make some changes and update my blog. I have spent the past few days working on alterations and planning ahead. I felt it appropriate for my first blog post of the new year to be an introduction to my new blog and the changes I have made.

Here’s what’s new:

  • I decided to invest in my own domain name
  • I spruced up my blog with a new design and layout
  • I have added a SHOP page, which features some of my current favourites and staple goods from household items or entertainment to beauty and health
  • I will be trying my very best to post more regularly, 3 times a week – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings

I am looking forward to continuing my blog and making improvements. I hope you like the changes and as always I’d be glad for any feedback.
